Terms of use

The service

NetworkMemory gives you a digital business card, a way for people you meet to share their details with you, and a private CRM for contacts, events, and follow-ups. AI-assisted features, when enabled for your account, turn voice notes and typed notes into suggestions that you review before anything changes. We may change or improve the service over time and will tell you about changes that materially reduce what you have paid for.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate details. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at privacy@networkmemory.io if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Responsible use

The contact details, notes, and other content you store are yours, and you are the controller of the personal data in them. You must collect and use other people's details lawfully, honour their requests to correct or remove what you hold, and not use NetworkMemory to send unsolicited marketing, to harass anyone, or to store content you have no right to keep. You must not attempt to access other accounts, probe or overload the service, or reuse it to build a competing product.

AI-assisted features

Transcriptions, extracted suggestions, and message drafts are generated by software and can be wrong or incomplete. They are suggestions only: nothing changes a contact until you confirm it, and NetworkMemory never sends messages on your behalf. Review every suggestion before relying on it.

Free plan and the AI allowance

The digital card, contact exchange, contacts, events, and follow-ups are free for as long as you use NetworkMemory. Each account also receives 10 free AI notes for the lifetime of the account. This allowance is counted per note that uses voice capture, transcription, or extraction, does not reset, and is not restored when a note is deleted. Once it is used, AI-assisted features need the AI plan; everything else keeps working.

AI plan, payment, and renewal

The AI plan is a subscription billed in advance, monthly or annually, at the price shown at checkout. Prices are shown before VAT; VAT is added at checkout where it applies. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card details. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. If we change the price of your plan we will tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect at your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry it. While payment is outstanding, AI-assisted features are paused and your card, CRM, and existing content stay available. If payment is not received within Stripe's retry window, the subscription ends and your account returns to the free plan.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel the AI plan at any time from the billing portal on your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep AI access until then, are not charged again, and then return to the free plan. We do not refund the remaining part of a monthly or annual period after you cancel.

If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel a new subscription within 14 days of purchase. Because the AI plan starts as soon as you pay, if you cancel within those 14 days we refund what you paid less a proportionate amount for the days the plan was active. To use this right, cancel from the billing portal or email privacy@networkmemory.io within the 14 days. Nothing in these terms limits the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

If we withdraw the AI plan or a fault on our side prevents you from using it for a significant part of a billing period, we will refund the unused part of that period.

Physical NFC cards

Card ordering is not open on this site. If we begin selling physical cards, separate purchase terms covering delivery and returns will apply and be shown before you order.

Your content and our rights

You keep all rights in the content you store. You give us only the permission needed to host, back up, display, and process it to provide the service to you, including sending it to an AI provider when you request an AI-assisted feature. You can export your data from your account page at any time. NetworkMemory, its software, and its branding remain ours.

Ending the agreement

You can request account deletion from your account page or by email; deletion requests are currently fulfilled manually and we confirm when they are complete. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, poses a security risk, or is required to be closed by law, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it. If we close your account without cause while you have a paid plan, we refund the unused part of the current period.

Availability and liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but not without interruption or error, and we may pause it for maintenance. We are not liable for loss caused by content you or other users store, by suggestions generated by AI features that you chose to rely on without review, or by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, or 50 pounds if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes, law, and contact

We will update this page when these terms change and show the date at the top. For changes that materially affect a paid plan we give at least 30 days' notice; continuing to use the service after that is acceptance, and you can cancel before then if you disagree. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live.
